WINTER PLAYGROUND

Grovehill Park is a focal point for winter activities and was identified by the borough as an ideal site to explore opportunities for public spaces in winter.

This approach allowed for the testing of facilities and the offering of various winter activities to the community. The initiative helped unite the community around a fun program of events, including a BBQ, a carnival, creative and educational workshops and musical performances.

This project has not only helped to improve the park's winter facilities, but also to unite the Lachine community around unifying events.
